◆Message from Kohei Ueno◆
I started playing saxophone for the school brass band when I was 8. I didn’t choose to play the instrument, but my club teacher decided for me, saying my character was suited to playing the saxophone. At 19, I became the youngest-ever winner in the saxophone division of the Japan Wind and Percussion Competition . I’m passionate about promoting the charms of classical saxophone. I love music, but I also love trains, and I even dreamed of becoming a train conductor. I build model train dioramas at my parents’ home in Ibaraki.
