The opening of the new Setagaya Kumin Kaikan will be celebrated with a performance of Hinazuru Sambaso by NAKAMURA Jakuemon , the renowned Kabuki onnagata actor (female role specialist). The event will also feature the magnificent Hotaru (Firefly), composed by IMAFUJI Masataro , a Living National Treasure of Nagauta Shamisen. Be sure to see the rare “opening ceremony” held only during the grand opening. There is even a saying that watching an opening ceremony brings good luck in extending one’s life. Check it out!
